Become a Friend and show your commitment to Newton's outstanding public library. Stand with the dedicated group whose members serve the Library.

The Friends serve the Library in many ways:
  • Fund both children and adult programs and collections
  • Co-host with the Library Trustees the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast
  • Collate and mail the library Newsletters to Friends members
  • Hold quarterly Book Sales at Auburndale Branch Library
  • Provide the Pooh Note card and the Bag-A-Book Bag for sale
  • Staff and maintain the Gift and Book Carts - Pooh Note Cards and Bag-A-Book Bag
  • Sponsor the Book and Author Luncheon. Check back here in March 2013 for details of this year's Book & Author Luncheon
