I am looking for...

Do you want to improve your English? The Newton Free Library can help! Our award-winning English Language Learning Program helps adult English learners who want to improve their English and learn about American culture. Our learners are at all levels of English proficiency and have diverse needs, interests, and goals.

Our wonderful volunteers are caring members of the community who help integrate learners into an English-speaking world. Volunteers provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring, in addition to leading larger classes and conversation groups.

Are you interested in studying English with a tutor?

We are not currently accepting applications for English tutoring from students. If you fill out this form, we will contact you when we start accepting applications again. New students can still participate in our group classes. For more information about our program, please visit our Student Frequently Asked Questions page.
